Juneau to Ketchikan

 We enjoyed walking without rain for a bit down the waterfront in Juneau where they have a great whale fountain.  Then we went to the fish hatchery and on to our boat bound for Ketchikan.  Lots of rain.  We were playing cards and would run out to watch several whales.   Even with the rain, the marine highway is spectacular.

Anchorage again

 We woke up on Crow Creek outside of Girdwood.   Old Gold mine up there.  Lawson had a tour with the manager of lift operations at Alyeska Ski Resort.  Then we drove the coast to Anchorage and returned the RV. We dropped luggage and visited the Alaska Air Museum and looked out over the largest seaplane base in the world.  Amazing the amount of General Aviation aircraft sitting around on ground or floats. I am always amazed at the number of 747 cargo planes coming and going out the window at Anchorage airport.  Tonight we flew into Juneau.  We got Lawson a window seat....we thought. Proverbs 30:8-9
